What a day out on the water we had with Bill and their crew! As a guide with Tuna Wahoo Charters, I was excited to take them on our Family-Friendly Palm Beach Fishing Charters adventure. Our first catch on the troll was a little blackfin tuna, this was followed by a mahi on the kite. When we caught a sailfish i figured we had a Palm Beach Trifecta, but i messed that up a litte while later when we caught our second sailfish ! Not a bad day for windy conditions !!</div>

<div>Trey and Tanya came out again today, they have been loyal clients for many years. The troll was slow today, one small bonita and one mystery bite that caused bridle failure on the deep rod ...??? Our objective today was to drift deep water for mahi and blackfin tuna, so we trolled south about 7 miles. Once we set up on the drift we started getting more action, we boated 3 mahi and had a four foot long bull mahi eaten by a bull shark right under the boat ! We landed a keeper mutton snapper, a small black fin tuna, and our last fish of the day was a 25 lb king mackerel. It was a great trip gor great clients !</div>

Trolling was slow but we came up with one nice King Mackerel, on the drift we lost another King &nbsp;but picked up several nice yellowtail snappers and short mutton snappers. The group had a great time, we got thru the inlet before it closed, and the rain started just as I finished filleting the catch ! Home Run !!</div>

It was a beautiful sunny day down in West Palm Beach, Florida when we set out on the water with Michael Smith and the crew for our 3/4 Day Trip with Tuna Wahoo Charters. We met up at the docks early in the morning, got the gear ready, and headed out full of excitement for a great day of fishing.
Once we got out on the water, we started working some deep-sea spots, mixing in trolling, bait casting, and heavy tackle to cover different depths and target the variety of species in the area. It wasn't long before the rods started bending, and we were hauling in Atlantic bonito and Little tunny - those fish really put up a great fight! February is a prime time for inshore and offshore fishing here in Riviera Beach, with the fish feeding actively as the water starts to warm up. We met up at the Riviera Beach City Marina bright and early, got all the gear loaded up, and headed out to put David on some great action.

The conditions were perfect - clear skies, calm seas, and the water was in great shape. We started out working the inshore areas, using a mix of fishing techniques to target different species. It didn't take long before David was hooked into a feisty White Grunt that put up a solid fight. After landing that one, we kept the momentum going and soon had a nice Gray Triggerfish in the box as well. The variety of fish we were able to target kept things exciting, and David was having a blast switching up his tactics to figure out what the fish wanted on any given drift.

As the day went on, we continued to work different areas, trying different baits and presentations to see what the fish were responding to. David was a quick learner, and we were able to put him on some great action throughout the trip. Between the steady bites and the beautiful scenery, it was just an all-around fantastic day on the water. The weather was absolutely perfect first thing in the morning with our early start, but as forecasted the wind picked up three hours into the trip. February is a great time to be out on the water here, as the migratory patterns start to shift and the fish really start to feed aggressivelyWe started trolling and it wasnt long before two rods doubled over and we were into two Mahi Mahi. The fish put on a fantastic aerial display, jumping and cartwheeling across the surface before we finally got them boat-side and into the fish box. We went back on the troll and soon picked up a barracuda, but another fish ( barracuda ? shark ?) grabbed him from behind and we boated only the front half of our fish !We went on the drift after that, put up the kite and soon had a very large Sailfish take our live bait. Unfortunately the Sailfish kinked the wire &nbsp;leader and it broke freeing the fish. sort if a long distance release! A breezy morning made the conditions a little more difficult for Tom and Pete. We picked up three Bonita trolling. got mugged up by small mahi when kite fishing, and picked at some nice bottom fish in spite of a very fast drift. When all finished, we had a beautiful morning!

Joe and Jim joined us today and they had a blast drift fishing. We caught 12 different kinds of fish and they went home with a big bag of fillets !

With all the cold fronts we have been having I thought it was time we checked out the inshore fishing on the beach, and sure enough the Spanish Mackerel have moved in. The Westfall family joined me today and first we trolled up some Spanish, along with a lonely Bluefish. Moving offshore we found some very large King Mackerel, landing one about 35 pounds and two more biting us off or pulling the hook. A very busy morning !!
