The Riviera Beach City Marina was buzzing with activity as my group of two, Paul and a friend, got geared up and ready to hit the offshore grounds. While the weather forecast called for some potential storms, the water was looking great, and we were eager to see what the day would bring.

As we got underway, I started rigging up some heavy tackle, planning to target the pelagic species that this area is known for. We deployed a kite with live bait, set out some trolling lines, and got the deep-sea rigs ready to drop down for any bottom dwellers. It didn't take long before one of the rods started screaming - Paul was into a feisty Little Tunny! That fish put up an awesome fight, stripping line and making some acrobatic jumps, but Paul kept the pressure on and soon had it boat-side. A quick measurement and photo, and we had our first catch of the day.

The bite stayed steady throughout the morning, with us landing a few more Little Tunny and even seeing some quick flashes of larger gamefish busting baitfish on the surface. While we didn't manage to hook into anything truly massive, the non-stop action and variety of techniques kept us all engaged and having a blast. Between the constant fishing, swapping fishing stories, and taking in the beautiful West Palm Beach scenery, the time just flew by.

As we pulled back into the marina, I could tell the crew had a great time. Even though we didn't boat any trophy-sized fish, the overall experience was exactly what they were looking for - a fun, diverse offshore adventure with plenty of action.
