What a morning we had out on the water today! I had the pleasure of taking Tanya Schneider and her friend out for a 4 Hour Fishing Adventure with Tuna Wahoo Charters at the Riviera Beach City Marina. It was a beautiful sunny day down in West Palm Beach, Florida when we set out on the water with Michael Smith and the crew for our 3/4 Day Trip with Tuna Wahoo Charters. We started the day working some inshore structure, using a mix of fishing techniques to target Little tunny, White grunt, and Rainbow parrotfish. The fish were fired up and hitting our baits hard. Matt was a natural, keeping his cool and landing some great catches. As we moved further offshore, the action just kept getting better. Alright, let's dive into the experience I had guiding Craig Tomsky and his wife on a 4 Hour Fishing Adventure with Tuna Wahoo Charters in Riviera Beach. The weather was absolutely perfect first thing in the morning with our early start, but as forecasted the wind picked up three hours into the trip. February is a great time to be out on the water here, as the migratory patterns start to shift and the fish really start to feed aggressively

We started trolling and it wasnt long before two rods doubled over and we were into two Mahi Mahi. The fish put on a fantastic aerial display, jumping and cartwheeling across the surface before we finally got them boat-side and into the fish box. We went back on the troll and soon picked up a barracuda, but another fish ( barracuda ? shark ?) grabbed him from behind and we boated only the front half of our fish !

We went on the drift after that, put up the kite and soon had a very large Sailfish take our live bait. Unfortunately the Sailfish kinked the wire  leader and it broke freeing the fish. sort if a long distance release! While we were kite fishing Craig and Sue were able to bottom fish and caught mangrove snapper, French Grunts, and Sand Tilefish

The near-shore waters of West Palm Beach were firing on all cylinders today. We targeted bluefish and Spanish mackerel, and the bite was excellent. They were aggressive, hitting hard and fast, providing plenty of action on light tackle.

What a day we had out on the water! The conditions were just about perfect for a day of offshore fishing - the sky was clear, the temperature was comfortable, and the ocean was as calm as could be. We had a great day of fishing and brought in some Mahi, Bonita and a sailfish!

Another Great day on the waters of west palm beach!

Our plan was to target a variety of species using a mix of techniques, and it wasn't long before the rods started bending. The thrill of the catch was certainly there with each new fish bringing more excitement to the boat. Its always great getting kids hooked on fishing and today was no exception to that rule!

We departed under a gorgeous sunrise and started off by targeting some of the more active species, working the lines with a variety of lures and techniques. It didn't take long before we got our first hook-up, and that initial burst of action really set the tone for the rest of the trip, and I could tell everyone was fully engaged and ready for whatever the fish had in store.
