Riviera Beach Municipal Marina Fishing Report on 17th Apr, 2026

Wendell and Walter joined us today and in spite of rainy skies we had a very good time. Trolling was slow, but Wendell got a Blackfin Tuna, (guess who’s getting seared in sesame oil tonight ??!!). Then we switched over to drift fishing and the guys did real well on snappers and grunts. We missed a Sail or King on the kite live bait and we decided to head-on in and get out of the rain !

Riviera Beach Municipal Marina Fishing Report on 11th Apr, 2026

Lorenzo brought his family back out and because of the small craft advisory we decided to fish the Intercoastal. First up on the troll was a jack crevalle which was released. When we anchored up the family started catching nice Lane Snappers and Grunts, who were invited to be the guests of honor at lunch at the Marina restaurant! We also got a huge mantis shrimp that also joined the family for linch. We had a great time and didnt have to worry about rough seas.

Dana brought her boys out today and the little guys were psyched to catch some big saltwater fish. The Blackfin tuna were the perfect size for them, the Jack crevalle they needed a little help with ! Guess what they had for dinner??!!

Josh brought out his boys today and the Smithwick family. Trolling was slow today, our only bite was an unseen billfish that straightened a new 7/0 hook on the initial run and then was gone ! Frustrating comes to mind !!! Bottom fishing was good, so the boys had plenty of action

well the wind is still blowing down here in Palm Beach, so when Nicole called yesterday to book the boat i told her there was only one option...the Intercoastal. She showed up today with husband and two small boys in tow and we had a blast catching snappers, mackerel, and other assorted reef fish.

Khara brought her family out today and since the small craft advisory was still up we stayed in the Intercoastal. Chris was first up with a nice Pompano and then the kids got into it with Blue Runners, catfish, and puffers. We all had a great time and the Pompano was the star at the Marina Restaurant for lunch !

Cliff brought his long time buddies Mike and Bob out on the boat today. Cliff scored first, getting a bonita on the troll. Mike quickly followed up though with a real nice King Mackerel on the flat lined drift bait. after we got everything set up again a sailfidh blasted this same bait but ended up throwing the hook. While this crazyness was going on, the guys were still bringing up grunts, sand tiles, squirrelfish, snd wrasses so things were very hectic ! We ran back in on flat seas, it was a terrific morning !

Riviera Beach Municipal Marina Fishing Report on 22nd Mar, 2026

Vicki and Gary joined us today and the seas finally calmed down. We started out trolling and quickly picked up 3 Bonita, 2 were the extra large kind so my anglers got a workout. We then went on the drift and got slammed by a 40 pound King Mackerel that gave Vicki some fits! We were then picking at porgies, Grunts and Triggerfish when a Sailfish inhaled a flat lined live bait, and it was Gary’s turn to break out in a sweat ! We cruised home in flat seas and everyone was happy !!

Josh brought his family out today, because of the hard northeast sind we decided to fish the intercoastal channrl behind Palm Beach Island. No Goliaths or sharks today, but a couple of mystery cut offs, probably from barracuda. Lots of action from Lane Snapper and grunts, and the boys had a great lunch at the marina restaurant.

i had the Webster boys out today, three ten year olds who could machine gun questions faster than I could ever think of answering them. Trolling we got a big bonita, and then we switched over to drift fishing. We gotna beautiful red grouper, which we released and then some great triggers !

Josh brought his family out today for an 11 AM to 3 PM trip. As I expected, a late start like this really shut down the troll bite with the sun being directly overhead. Drift fishing was a lot of fun for them and they all got into it ! We lost some larger snappers to sharks but were able to sneak enough bottom fish by the sharks that the family had a great lunch at the marina restaurant .

Douglas Crew Scores Big with Perfect Conditions Offshore!

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Douglas and their crew joined us for a winter morning trip, heading out early morning under clear conditions throughout the day. The weather was perfect for our Full Day of offshore Fishing from West Palm Beach with Tuna Wahoo Charters!

Riviera Beach Municipal Marina Fishing Report on 13th Feb, 2026

Bryan and Lauren joined us today for a six hour trip. We took off and started trolling and I have to tell you after the first hour I was second guessing myself because we had nothing to show for our efforts. I was heading north in 80 feet of water when I started reading some bait. I was thinking this looks good for King Mackerel when all of a sudden the planer rod goes off. A few minutes later we put the gaff in a big wahoo ! Ok, now I’m feeling better !! Then we started boating Bonita, and we havent seen any of them in weeks, now I’m really feeling better !!! I swing the boat back to make another pass thru the same area and the planer rod takes another hit, but the hook doesn’t find the fish. I’m pondering that when the Starboard rod gets hit and this time the hook does stick, and we have a Sailfish dancing behind the boat. A couple of minutes later, we released a very angry Sailfish !!

Katie broght her family out today for a 4 hour trip. No love on the troll, or even on the kite baits, but the bottom fishing was fun with lots of reef fish coming in.

Lenny booked the boat for his friends but because of prior poor experiences, they didnt want to troll. Ok, let’s run out and go right on the drift. I ran north a short distance and then we started bottom fishing. They were catching porgies, grunts, sand tiles and other reef fish. They caught more fish on this trip than they did on their prior 3 trips. They had a great time and took home a big bag of fillets for dinner.
